Animal Services Moves to New Location

The Contra Costa County Animal Services department has moved to a new location in Pinole, California. The department offers a variety of services, including handling lost and found animals and enforcing leash laws. The new location is more spacious and modern, and it will allow the department to provide better service to the community.
The department's old location in Martinez will be closed as of May 24, 2023. All animals that were being held at the Martinez shelter have been moved to the new location in Pinole.
